A little about us ...
Pacific Island Air Tech Co., Inc. is a woman-owned firm licensed in the State of Hawai'i as an "S" Contractor, providing heating, ventilation and air conditioning services. In 1999 Pacific Island Air Tech Co, Inc. received SBA 8(a) certification as a minority disadvantage woman-owned business as a HVAC contractor, and we are classified as a small business per Federal and State of Hawai'i criteria. In 1999, Mana Joy A. Hokama established Pacific Island Air Tech Co., Inc. to provide excellence in workmanship and customer satisfaction. With 21 years of construction, maintenance service, and contract management experience in the HVAC field, Mana Joy is very quality assurance oriented. She is currently a member of the General Contract Management Association. Together with her knowledgeable staff, they are responsible for all aspects of the company operations from procurement of contracts to the completion of the projects. Our services have been provided to both residential and commercial markets. In the public sector, we have provided services to the military at Kaneohe Marine Base Corps Housing, Hickam Air Force Base, Fort Shafter, Schofield Barracks, Wheeler Army Air Field, Tripler Army and the Helemano Military Reservation. We have also provided our services to the Hawai'i State Government, such as maintaining and installing air conditioning equipment at various schools on the island of O'ahu and we have replaced old deteriorated system(s) for the State of Hawai'i Maintenance Service Division.
